The University of Oxford has been at the forefront of the international response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Much of this activity is reflected in the wide array of research outputs – journal articles, conference papers, working papers, preprints, and more – that have been produced in this area.
The Bodleian’s new ORA COVID-19 Collection seeks to provide a one-stop point of access to all of these outputs from across all of the University’s academic Divisions. It provides (where possible) the full-text of items held in ORA as well as links to Oxford COVID-related outputs held in a range of other locations. The ORA COVID-19 Collection ensures that these materials are available not only for today’s readers but also in perpetuity – to illuminate the story of the University’s contribution to the pandemic response for future generations.
The Oxford University Research Archive (ORA) serves as an institutional repository for the University of Oxford and is home to the scholarly research output of its members. ORA is a permanent and secure archive of the University which preserves a wide range of research publications, journal articles, conference papers, working papers, theses, reports, book sections and more. Unpublished academic work is also deposited into ORA, maximising the University’s research output. The full-text and abstracts of many of these items are freely available with the numbers increasing daily.
If you a member of the University of Oxford and can’t see your COVID-19 related work in our collection, then please see Depositing in ORA for information on how to contribute your work to the archive.
We would also value your thoughts, comments and any suggested additions that you may regarding for the Collection. Contact ora@bodleian.ox.ac.uk or complete the webform at https://ora.ox.ac.uk/contact
